A Prayer For April
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus ,
the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning it’s shame , and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. “
God Almighty,
Thank you for my peace. Thank you that your face is beaming all around me with joy love understanding and trust.
When I feel I am surrounded In disappointment or problems I rest In thanksgiving and simply cry out to you.
Keep me from gazing too long on inconvenient situations or strife. I know I can rise above my feelings and fix my eyes on you
Thank you for your promise you are always beside me You never change. Remind me throughout my day you will be there in times of overwhelming feelings to bring me peace. Trusting you will always bring me through any challenge real or imagined.
I will stay close to you. I will keep my eyes open to your bounty and my ears tuned to your frequency and all will be well with my soul.
The future is a phantom seeking to spoke me. I will laugh at the future because you will always lift me up beyond my imagined concerns.
I surrender this day to trusting you in all things
In gratitude I pray
